Kris Worley

After 35 years of conventional gym workouts, baby boomer Kris Worley was looking for an exercise program that would help ease neck pain and would not stress her joints as traditional workouts using dumbbells and weight machines eventually did. What she found was Pilates, and the results were dramatic. In a relatively short time span, she eliminated her neck pain by greatly improving her posture, and achieved greater muscle tone and strength through intrinsic muscle development.

Working with clients between the ages of 10 and 72, she is dedicated to helping people improve core strength, muscle definition, flexibility and posture, regardless of age or ability level. Her philosophy? "It's all about the quality of the movement." She believes that everyone should include some type of consistent exercise throughout their lives for physical and mental well-being. At age 61, Kris holds a personal knowledge of joint stress caused by traditional fitness training, muscle tightness, postural imbalances, and the need to incorporate resistance training into an exercise program, especially for those in the boomer generation confronted with the issues of aging and the onset of osteoporosis. Kris completed her training through Club Pilates San Diego and is fully trained in all apparatus including the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Ladder Barrel, as well as Mat.

Megan Fazzio

is happiest when helping people understand, appreciate, and sculpt their bodies. In Pilates she found the ultimate method for training her clients to have optimal posture, beautiful, balanced musculature, and energy to appreciate life in lovely San Diego.

Growing up in Bozeman, MT, Megan loved skiing and snowboarding during the long winters, hiking and cycling during the gorgeous summers. She began her training as a violin maker and worked at violin shops in Georgia, Vermont, and New York. After developing chronic pain in her wrist, she found Pilates and saw such profound results that she became passionate about the method.

Megan and her husband spent six months touring Italy and France by bicycle last year, and decided to settle in California upon returning to the States. San Diego wasn't part of the plan, but they were won over by the friendly, open vibe and emphasis on health and fitness. The sunshine and beaches factored in, as well!

Megan is a trained Pilates teacher through Club Pilates San Diego, and is also a certified Pilates Instructor through the PMA. Megan is thrilled to be teaching at several studios in San Diego. When not training, she enjoys cooking, dancing, running, hiking, playing in the waves, and exploring the museums and gardens in Balboa Park and greater San Diego.

Club Pilates is a fun and growing studio, and Megan is eager to meet all the clients. Sign up for one of her midday classes, and feel energized for the rest of the week!

Wendy Savage

Wendy is a native to San Diego by birth but grew up experiencing many cities of the US. She studied at NYU and finally returned to San Diego in 2000.

Throughout her life, Wendy has always explored different types of fitness. Growing up she was a swimmer, played soccer, danced, did gymnastics and in high school was on a competitive cheerleading squad. When she discovered running it became one of her favorites. However, because she struggled with knee issues since high school, it wasn't always an option. After taking a long break from it, she began running again in 2008 and ran her first 1/2 marathon in 2009. Since then she has completed seven 1/2 marathons. Her knee pain started to return when she ran her 6th race. After the last one, it became clear that she needed to take a break again. That is when she decided to give Pilates a try. It was instant fitness love! She came home and told her husband that she wanted to be a Pilates instructor and he said, "That's the best idea you've ever had!"

Joseph Pilates said "Contrology (now known as Pilates) develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong postures, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind, and elevates the spirit." It's true!! Wendy is amazed at how her body has transformed through consistent Pilates practice and loves how she feels mentally after a class. What she loves even more is having that same feeling teaching others!

Wendy completed her Pilates Instructor Training through Club Pilates. She is so pleased to be apart of the amazing Club Pilates family and is enjoying helping others achieve that same invigorating feeling and body transformation she experiences!

Outside the studio Wendy is an actor/artist, loves camping at Joshua Tree with her husband, and every November you'll see her and Paul keeping the walkers safe on the route of the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk.
